The country’s largest luxury car seller BMW is geared-up to unveil its much awaited new generation 3 Series sedan in the Indian market on Friday. In a bid to gain the popularity through social media fan following, the company will first launch the car on its official Facebook page. The car has been named as F30, and is scheduled to be unveiled on 14th October. Besides F30, the other BMW 3 Series model that will be launched in the Indian market later on include Touring, GT, Coupe, Convertible and GranCoupe. The car will go on sale by the starting of next year after its showcase at the Delhi International Auto Expo.
Based on the platform of BMW 5 Series, the car carries a number of similarities with its bigger sibling including similar front and side profile. Incorporating a range of advance active and passive safety features, the all new S Series sedan comes with a promise of impeccable performance on the Indian roads.
The company is expected to offer the car in five engine options with the capacities of 2.0L to 3.0L. With the BMW’s plans of staring an engine manufacturing plant in the Indian market, the new BMW 3 Series is expected to be priced competitively in the segment of Rs 25 to 35 lakh.
