Model Launch date

We expect the new Maruti Dzire to be launched in India in the first half of CY 2024

Feature list

The next-generation Dzire for the Indian car market will get features like a dual-digital displays, connected car technology, 360-degree camera, HUD and height adjustment for the driver’s seat. On the safety front, all versions will get six airbags, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX child seat mounting points.

Engine, performance and specifications

The Dzire will be offered with Maruti’s 1.2-litre K12C petrol engine producing 89bhp/113Nm. This engine, India, will be offered with a five-speed manual or a five-speed AMT. Globally, Suzuki has shown a three-cylinder petrol engine mated to a CVT but that is unlikely to come to India.

Variants

We expect the new Dzire to be offered in the LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+ variants for both AT and MT options.

Safety

The new Maruti Dzire has not been tested for a GNCAP or BNCAP safety rating

Competition

It will compete with the Hyundai Aura, Honda Amaze and Tata Tigor.
