Mahindra Thar Roxx

Model launch date:

The Mahindra Thar Roxx will be launched in India on 15 August, 2024.

Feature list:

On the outside, the Thar Roxx will sport a longer wheelbase and added length. Further, it will ride on redesigned wheels, new body-coloured front grille, LED fog lamps, and LED headlamps with integrated daytime running lights.

Inside, the cabin of the Roxx is expected to come equipped with a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 360-degree camera, bench/captain seats for the second row, and a panoramic sunroof.

Engine, performance, and specifications:

The Thar Roxx will be offered with three engine options - a 1.5-litre entry-level diesel engine, a 2.2-litre diesel, and a 2.0-litre petrol unit, with manual and automatic gearboxes to choose from. Apart from the standard rear wheel drive, the Roxx will also be available with a 4WD setup.

Variants:

The Thar Roxx will be offered in multiple petrol and diesel variants.

Safety:

The Mahindra Thar Roxx has not been crash-tested by any NCAP body yet.

Competition:

The Mahindra Thar Roxx will go up against the Maruti Suzuki Jimny and the Force Gurkha.
