Tata Motors pulled the curtains off its next generation Safari Storme at the 11th Auto Expo held in New Delhi in January 2012. The new product from the stables of Tata Motors looked stunning and boasted of refined exterior and interior attributes than the current generation of Safari. The showcased SUV became an instant hit while pulling enormous amount of admirers towards the Tata Motors' pavilion, because of which the company has pinned great hopes with the Safari Storme.

The yet-to-be launched Tata Safari Storme will come trimmed with several futuristic and world class features in its overall package. The Indian auto maker has installed a variety of instant attention grabbing finishing touches like the new improvised honeycomb front grille and an exciting 'power bulge' on the bonnet, which completes the vehicle's sporty outlook. The 2012 Tata Safari Storme has been installed with a gamut of catchy additions like the projector headlights, chrome plated twin exhaust vents and a completely different tailgate among others.

The upcoming Safari Storme will commit in a direct face off against the likes of several interesting products in the Indian SUV market, such as Mahindra XUV500, Renault Duster and the upcoming Rexton SUV from SsangYong Motors, which is now a subdivision of M&M. The decision to launch the face-lifted and mannish Safari Storme is dubbed as a smart move by the industry experts and might prove handy in establishing Tata Motors' dominance in the domestic auto market.

The 2012 Tata Safari Storme is expected to be bestowed with the tried and tested 2.2 litre DiCOR diesel, which churns out a peak power around 138 bhp and delivers a mammoth torque output of 320 Nm. Further, the drive train and suspension system are believed to be the same that are installed in the Tata Aria crossover and ensure sublime driving ergonomics of the upcoming vehicle.

Industry experts believe that Tata Motors will devise a pragmatic approach towards the pricing of upcoming Safari Storme and with Indian festive season being just round the corner, the Indian auto giant will make sure the domestic audience receives the car with utmost admiration. Tata Safari Strome's stiff competitor will be Mahindra XUV500, whose claim to fame factor was its aggressive price tag that proved instrumental for its sound impact in the SUV market. The XUV500 SUV has dominated the Indian scene since its launch and Tata Motors' will be aspiring to emulate the tremendous success of the Mahindra product with its appealing Safari Storme SUV.
