Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol, released on 16th December 2011 was a successful action flick that drew much attention of fans not only because of A-list actors but luxury car models too. Fans were instantly attracted to the BMW futuristic car models.
It is not only Hollywood that is joining hands with luxury car companies to strengthen the bond. In the recent past, Bollywood movies have been introducing elite car models to give the film an extra edge over others. ‘Players’, starring Abhishek Bachchan, is a much-awaited movie that will showcase cars like Mazda MX5, MINI Cooper and modified Chrysler 300C stretch limo. This movie is remake of 1969 Hollywood flick ‘The Italian Job’. Releasing on 6th January, 2011, ‘Players’ will look forward to impress the youth with sporty cars.
The Delhi Auto Expo scheduled for January is set to play host for the launch of many new models and one among them is the luxury hatchback BMW Mini Cooper that has been given the title for the world’s best mini sports car. The German auto maker will be introducing the Mini Cooper model in petrol as well as diesel variants. Mini Countryman is also geared up to enter the Indian automobile market.
While Mini Cooper is a hatchback, the Mini Countryman has been provided with crossover looks. The Mini Cooper petrol and diesel variant are expected to fall in the price bracket of Rs. 18 lacs and Rs. 32 lacs. On the other hand, Mini Countryman will be available in the price range of Rs. 20 lacs and Rs. 25 lacs. With this pricing, BMW is looking forward to give stiff competition to Auto Expo.
Thus, cars have become an inseparable part of Bollywood and Hollywood flicks and continue to prove their mettle with every new release.
