American SUV maker Jeep is all set to launch the new Meridian in India on 19 June, 2022. The seven-seat SUV made its India debut in March, while the brand commenced bookings on 3 May, 2022. Jeep will begin delivering the Meridian by the third week of June.
The key exterior highlights of the Meridian include LED headlights and fog lamps, LED rear lights, 18-inch alloy wheels, a black paint job for the roof and side-view mirrors, and black cladding around the lower panels.

The SUV features a dual-tone interior theme. In addition, it comes with a fully digital driver display, a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen, cooled front seats, dual-zone temperature control, a 360-degree camera setup, powered front seats and tailgate, six airbags, a wireless phone charging pad, a nine-speaker Alpine sound system, and a panoramic sunroof.

The Meridian is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine producing 168bhp and 350Nm. Jeep offers it with a six-speed manual and nine-speed automatic transmission options, along with a 4x4 system. Upon launch, the Meridian will rival the likes of Skoda Kodiaq, Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, and Mahindra Alturas G4.
