The upcoming Geneva Motor show shall be the venue for unveiling the Honda Civic Type R. Based on the teaser images released by the company the vehicle spotted a flat and low under-body along with a rear diffuser unit that helped keep the vehicle body down to road. The vehicle also sported a stylish rear spoiler that gives the vehicle a sufficient amount of down-force to handle high speeds with ease.
The company has claimed that the upcoming Honda Civic Type R shall be capable of attaining a top speed of about 167 mph. The vehicle shall be powered by 2.0 liter direct-injected turbocharged four-cylinder engine that is capable of generating about 300 HP at about 7000 RPM. For complete control the vehicle gets 350 mm drilled discs with four-piston calipers that sits perfectly in 19 inch alloys. Press the +R button and the vehicle gears up for a race track performance.
