Maruti Suzuki has been pretty low profile in the market in recent times despite launching the Celerio model and that is surprising given its status along with the ongoing festive season. Ciaz sedan has gained popularity and though nothing has been made official, the model could be launched in October. Now, in a recent development, the facelift version of Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 could make its way to the Indian market soon. A report by gaadiwaadi.com has revealed spy pictures of the exteriors of this model, revealing a lot of details.
The report claims that Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 is going to be launched in as many as five variants along with six colour options, which is an incredibly high amount. Variants of this car are slated to be Lx, LXi, LXi+ and Vxi while colours like silver, white, red, brown, grey and blue will be available. This version will feature the body shell of Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 but with different fascia, both on the rear and front. Other features expected to be included in this model are redesigned headlamps, new bumpers, rear combination lights similar to Celerio and a chrome highlighted grille.
Mechanical configuration, as per the regular trend, is going to remain the same and Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 will be powered by a 1.0-litre engine that delivers 67 BHP and 90 Nm of torque. The transmission is going to feature 5-speed manual gearbox and reports claim that an automatic variant might be added as well. This car might be launched in coming months and its price range is slated to be between INR 3.2 lakh – 4 lakhs.
