Things are heating up as Avengers: Age of Ultron movie has hit the theaters. With the release of this film, German car maker Audi got quite a bit of exposure to the public, owing to its expanded partnership with Marvel. Notably, it is not the first time that the brand with four rings has featured its models in Marvel movies, with R8 being driven by Tony Stark in the first Iron Man movie. In its sequel, the superhero’s dream garage had a R8 Spyder, while R8 e-tron was being used by Stark in Iron Man 3. Apart from the R8 series, other Audi cars like A8L, S5, S7 Sportback and Q7 are also used in the Iron Man series.
In the first part of Avengers, Honda’s luxury division Acura was majorly showcased, but the company didn’t report a boost in its sales. But this time around, Tony Stark drove an all new Audi R8, which left the audience mesmerized. Along with it, cars like 2015 TTS and A3 Cabriolet also captured the glance of audience in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Fans can use this portal to view some extended videos and learn about the cars showcased in the film.
Moreover, the tie-up has also released a comedic short starring Stan Lee, which is posted on the official Youtube Channel of Audi. Industry experts are of a view that this extended ventureship with Marvel will prove to be a lucrative deal for Audi. As a part of marketing trick, the German car maker has earned some extra footage from the new Avengers film, plus Ant Man, which is mixed with the 2015 TTS being driven around a track.
