One of the most annoying problems that can develop in a car is of water seepage. The leaking of water and entering into the cockpit area can be frustrating if not annoying! When a person is investing Rs. 10 lakhs for a car, he must not face such a problem. But a few units of Renault Duster and Nissan Terrano are showing this problem causing a havoc to the customers!
It has been an era since Renault marked the beginning of manufacturing its automobiles. One of the bestselling variant of Renault is its SUV named Duster. Soon after the launch of Duster, Nissan also entered the SUV market with its Terrano. Both these cars have attracted thousands of customers around the subcontinent and have been doing well in their sales, but a common problem in both these SUV’s is of water seepage.
There is a drainage pipe in every air-conditioned car with the aim of making the water condensed from the evaporator flow out of the car. If the car lacks these drainage pipes, it may lead to seepage with water entering into the floor mats of the car. Many Renault Duster and Nissan Terrano have reported this problem at their nearby service centres. These service centres only install the missing drainage pipe into the system and finish the guarantee cover. They are not responsible for replacing the destroyed floor mats!
There has been a lot of aggression amongst the customers who faced this problem as the moisture in the cockpit is leading to a stench coming out of it! They are getting these demolished floor mats replaced themselves. Renault and Nissan are two very reputed companies. They must take care of their customer’s problems and feedback. Instead of waiting for the people to complain about this, they must recall the defective units and get an improvisation done so that people don’t face such problem in the future.
