Each car enjoys its era. We have seen a time where people preferred sedans over hatchbacks, hatchbacks over SUV’s, etc. But now, an era has come when MUV’s rule the market. These Multi Utility Vehicles refer to a van looking car, but with side doors and side windows, and seating in the form that it can accommodate passengers just like a station wagon. The MUV’s that plan to change the scenario of the world includes Datsun Go+ and Renault Lodgy. Information about them is mentioned below.

Datsun Go+: It looks a lot as if it is the stretched version of Datsun Go. This Nissan owned company has been aiming to produce high-quality cars from a long time. The Datsun Go+ is a 1.6m wide, 1.4m high car with a wheelbase of 3.95m. Datsun Go+ in many ways is similar to the Datsun Go. The engine being used is the same as that of its former variant that is a 1.2L three-cylinder petrol engine churning a power of 67 bhp and a torque of 107 Nm. It is also expected to have a 1.5L petrol variant of this car, after the launch of the diesel variant.

Renault Lodgy: This yet to be launched MUV is expected to roll on the streets by January of 2015. Renault has launched some heavy cars like the Duster or some mild cars like Renault Pulse. Now is the time to launch the MUV, Renault Lodgy. The preview of this model is overwhelming with sober and elegant exteriors along with a probable 1.5L K9K diesel engine developing a 110PS of power and 240 Nm of torque at high-speed configuration. It is also expected to have almost 144 mm legroom and a headroom of 866 mm.
