Tata, Honda and Maruti Suzuki, all these companies have a great reputation in the four-wheeler market. This is because of the quality they offer and features they provide in their cars. Tata Zest, Honda Amaze and Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire, all these are mid-budget sedan cars, which also play an important role in providing a stiff competition to each other. A brief comparison under some of their headings is mentioned below.

      Tata Zest

Powertrain: Tata has given a new and enhanced 1.2L Revotron turbocharged engine with 89 bhp power production and 140Nm torque production. The Honda Amaze is equipped with a 1.5L four-cylinder DOHC i-DTEC engine churning out a power of 74 bhp and 190 Nm at the respective maximum speed configurations. The last one is the Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire, which comes with a packed 1.5L four-cylinder DDiS diesel engine. It can generate a power of 74 bhp and a torque of 190 Nm.

Exteriors: Honda Amaze seems to have the upper hand if we compare the looks. The Amaze has a more sophisticated sedan profile with a larger boot, whereas the other two cars, namely Tata Zest and Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire. Both these cars have a less efficiently designed bootspace. Zest’s and Dzire’s hatchback versions also do the respective commendable jobs in their fields due to their sizes.

Interiors: Honda Amaze, though has the upper hand when looks are compared, but when it comes to interiors, it sure does lag at lots of places. The bare looking dashboard fails to make the person interested in the car. While in the case of Zest and Swift Dzire, the interiors look extremely attractive and have high-end features.

Price: The big question lies in the prices of these three vehicles. Tata Zest lies in the range of Rs. 4.65 lakhs to Rs. 7 lakhs, Honda Amaze would cost around Rs. 5.98 lakhs while the Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire steals the show with Rs. 7.32 lakhs as its cost.
