Crossovers have gained much popularity in the Indian market in recent times. As more and more customers have been opting for the new segment Tata Motors does not want to be left behind in this trend. Sources have revealed that Tata Motors may launch the Bolt X, a crossover trim that would compete against the likes of Toyota's Etios Cross,VW Cross Polo and Hyundai's i20 Active trims.
The company may power the Bolt X by the existing 1.2 Liter Revotron engine mated to a 5 speed manual transmission that is capable of generating about 90 PS of power. Being a crossover, the vehicle may receive slightly higher ground clearance figures than the existing variant. For now, more details about the vehicle is not known and the company is yet to confirm on the same. More details about the vehicle may be revealed by the company just ahead of its launch in-case the company decides to go ahead with its plans.
