Tata Motors, the auto maker to bring out the cheapest car in the world, has come out with the second edition of the Nano: Art-in-Motion. The launch of this second edition took place at the NH7 music festival held in Pune, which witnessed the creation of the 'Weekender' Art Nano. The Weekender Art Nano has been painted by renowned graffiti artist Bruce Dunn and portrays the spirit of self-expression.

The all new Weekender Art Nano has been painted using a combination of luminescent and acrylic paints and is inspired by music. Tata Motors says that the Weekender Art Nano takes forward the legacy of Nano: Art-in-Motion and continues to give the artist an opportunity to use the Tata Nano to show their creativity.

The car maker is adhering to Nano: Art-in-Motion, in order to showcase a series of Nano cars which will come painted in various colours and highlight varying theme-based imagery. This would help it to gain huge popularity and increase brand's personality.

Tata Motors had announced the launch of Nano: Art-in-Motion, in September 2012, and the first Nano Art Car was painted by a self taught artist, Ms. Sangeeta Babani.

Launching Nano: Art in Motion, Ms. Delna Avari, Head (Nano Product Group), Tata Motors had said, "The Tata Nano is a true innovation and a fun car, and art is all about having fun with colors, creativity and personal expression. Through this initiative, we are marrying art and utility to showcase a series of Tata Nanos', which will be embellished with varying theme-based imagery, further accentuating the brand's personality as a potent personal symbol. The first art car will focus around the theme of celebration. We are delighted to have Ms. Sangeeta Babani as part of the kickoff to this exciting new series."
