The automaker has launched the new Maybach S600 in India for Rs 2.6 Crore, whereas the S500 has been offered for Rs 1.67 Crore (Both, ex-showroom, Pune). The S500 has been offered for a lower price owing to its local assembly, whereas the S600 has been brought in country via the CBU route.
Under the hood the Mercedes-Maybach S500 gets 4663cc V8 engine that generates about 453Bhp of power and 700Nm of torque. The luxury sedan is capable of attaining a top speed of about 250 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 in just about 5.0 seconds. The Mercedes-Maybach S600 gets a 5980cc V12 engine that generates about 523Bhp of power and 830Nm of torque. The S600 is capable of attaining a top speed of about 250 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 in about 5.0 seconds.
The company has claimed to offer the new Mercedes-Maybach with the world's quietest rear passenger space. To offer the best of luxury, the sedan offers Air balance package, enhanced leg-room with leg support for rear passengers, Splitview and Magic vision control. As for safety, it comes with a total of 12 airbags.
