Back in December 2017, Maserati launched the Quattroporte GTS in India at a price of Rs 2.70 crores. Popularly known as the fastest luxury sedan in the world, the first GTS has arrived in India in a royal blue exterior colour and white interior with wood finish. The vehicle is available in two variants - GranLusso and GranSport.
Under the hood, the Maserati Quattroporte GTS is powered by a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that generates 522bhp between 6500-6800 rpm, and 710Nm of peak torque between 2250-3500 rpm. The powerful engine comes paired to an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. The vehicle’s top speed is electronically restricted to 310kmph and is capable of sprinting from 0-100kmph in 4.7 seconds.
As for features, the Quattroporte GTS gets an 8.4-inch Maserati Touch Control Plus (MTC+) unit along with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay connectivity and phone screen mirroring. The optional list includes 1280 watt, 15 speaker Bowers and Wilkins surround sound system. The new product offering from the Maserti production line competes against the likes of the Porsche Panamera and the Aston Martin Rapide.
