Mini Countryman Electric

Model launch date:

The Mini Countryman Electric was launched in India on 24 July, 2024.

Variants:

The Countryman Electric is available in a single, fully loaded variant.

Feature list:

The Mini Countryman Electric sports redesigned LED headlamps, new front and rear bumpers, and a fresh alloy wheel design that ranges from 17 inches to 19 inches in size. In terms of dimensions, the Countryman Electric is 60mm taller and 130mm longer than the previous generation Countryman.

The cabin of the Countryman Electric sports a 9.4-inch circular touchscreen infotainment system, new three-spoke steering wheel, heads-up display, and integrated AC vents on the dashboard. The centre console has been redesigned and the Countryman is also equipped with Level 2 ADAS features, panoramic sunroof, wireless charger, ambient lights, and electrically adjustable front seats.

Battery, powertrain, and specifications:

The Countryman Electric sources its power from a 66.45kWh battery pack that feeds the single electric motor to produce 201bhp and 250Nm of peak torque.

Charging time and range:

With a WLTP range of 462km, the Countryman Electric can be charged from 10 per cent to 80 per cent in 29 minutes using a 130kW DC charger. Meanwhile, a 22kW AC charger can juice up the battery from zero to 100 per cent in 3 hours 45 minutes.

Safety:

The Countryman Electric has not been crash-tested by any NCAP body yet.

The Mini Countryman Electric rivals the BMW iX1, Mercedes-Benz EQA, and the Volvo XC40 Recharge.
