About Maserati Quattroporte
Summary
The Italian sports car manufacturer launched the updated Quattroporte sedan in India in early 2019. It is equipped with a wide range of convenience and safety features alongside a range of powerful engine options. It is available in two variants - GranLusso and GranSport.
Exterior
The Quattroporte comes with a new set of full LED adaptive headlights with a high-beam assist. Also, there are new 20 and 21-inch alloy wheels. It is now available with two new tri-coat exterior colours. Besides, Maserati has redesigned the bumpers as well.
Interior
Although the interior of the Quattroporte has not been redesigned there is a new gear lever in the cabin. The car also has a luxurious interior with full leather trim and mulberry silk inserts on various parts of the cabin. There is also a seven-inch digital instrument cluster and an 8.4-inch infotainment touchscreen that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Engine and Transmission
The Quattroporte is powered by two petrol and one diesel engines. The 3.0-litre turbo V6 diesel makes 275bhp and 600Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the Quattroporte gets a 3.0-litre V6 petrol that develops 345bhp and 500nm of torque and the Quattroporte S features the same 3.0-litre V6 petrol but produces 424bhp and 580nm of torque.

Maserati Quattroporte has been designed with a unique exterior, which makes it a desirable car among people looking for premium luxury cars. The unique selling proposition of this car is probably the distinct styling. Quattroporte comes with an interesting combination of unique styling, regal driving experience, safety features and high technology communication features. The car has an enviable entertainment and communication unit that includes wireless communication access for blue-tooth enabled devices, high definition audio system with AM/FM radio, Bose surround sound and 11 speaker, CD player, MP3 player and satellite radio. Additionally, this unit has DVD player, USB adapter, iPOD auxiliary input jack, GPS navigation and hard drive with 40GB memory. Coming to passenger comfort, the car has a fully functional Heating, Ventilation, and Air-conditioning (HVAC) system with rear vents, automated climate control and separate driver/co-driver climate controls. For me the most interesting aspect is simple storage compartments like front dual seat-back storage pockets, lockable glove-box, front and rear 2 cup-holders each, temperature controlled front console and front covered lower console on the floor. The car has so many numerous simple features which makes this model one the best of its class. Along with a 32-valve 4.2 litre power packed DOHC engine, the car delivers an optimum horse power and torque.
