Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL), the largest car manufacturer in India, registered sales of 98,884 units for May 2012 with a downfall of 4.99 per cent against 1, 04,073 units sold in same period last year. The mentioned figures include 9,406 exported units. In the last month, the national sales of the company stood at 89,478 units, marking a downfall of 4.32 per cent when evaluated against 93,519 units in corresponding tenure last year.
Following the trend of downfall, the exports of company also went down by 10.88 per cent to 9,406 units in May 2012 from 10,554 units recorded in year-ago period.
