Maruti Suzuki India is aiming to launch a series of new and facelifts of the existing models in the country in 2015. The company will first launch the SX4 S-Cross crossover in January, while the YRA premium hatchback will come by the second half of 2015. The company is also preparing to launch the Ciaz Sport sedan variant, Celerio diesel, WagonR Stingray AMT hatchback and Swift Dzire facelift next year. Moreover, the country’s largest car maker is gearing up to give the Ertiga MPV a facelift.

The Ertiga facelift has already been spotted testing on Indian roads, and is expected to hit showrooms by the second half of 2015. The vehicle is likely to get changes to both exteriors and interiors. Its exterior is equipped with a new twin slat grille, slightly modified headlamps and new bumper. Its wheel arches have been fitted to newly designed alloy wheels.

Inside the cabin, the updated Ertiga features an electrically retractable outside rear view mirrors, automatic climate control, new upholstery, new infotainment system and other features that are offered on the recently launched Swift facelift. The facelift is likely to continue with the same engines that are offered on the current model; however, the engines could be tuned to offer better fuel efficiency. This means, the current 1.3L multi-jet diesel and 1.4-litre K Series unit would power the MPV.
