Auto makers like Maruti Suzuki India, Honda, Hyundai and Chevrolet have come up with lucrative cash discounts and schemes in a bid to boost their sagging monthly sales. Despite price reductions announced last month, February sales did not turn up to be impressive also with the current fiscal year coming to an end, the auto makers probably want to end current fiscal on a positive note.
Coming down to discounts, India’s largest car maker, Maruti Suzuki India is currently offering exchange bonus of Rs 50,000 on Swift, Dzire, Ritz and SX4. The cash discount scheme is also applicable on other cars from MSI’s stable like WagonR, WagonR Stingray and Maruti Ertiga. Maruti is proffering an exchange bonus of Rs 30,000 on WagonR and WagonR Stingray, along with an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000 on Ertiga MPV.
MSI is also offering a corporate bonus of Rs 1500 on all the above mentioned models. Apart from this an additional cash discount is being offered on Swift and Swift Dzire for Rs 10,000. Customers can also avail cash discounts of Rs 20,000 on Ritz, Rs 40,000 on SX4, Rs 30,000 on WagonR and WagonR Stingray and Rs 20,000 on Ertiga MPV.
The second largest car maker in India Hyundai has also doled out ‘Mega March Offer’ under which the new customers can win a trip to Brazil and get a chance to watch FIFA world cup live. Apart from the Brazil trip, customers will also get free accessories depending on the model one picks.Massive cash discounts are also being offered on Eon, Santro, Next Gen i10, Grand i10, i20, Verna, Elantra, Sonata and Santa Fe. The remunerative offers are valid only until March 16thand are applicable for dealers located in Delhi and NCR. Customers can avail a massive discount on Hyundai’s hatchbacks, starting with Eon, company is offering a cash discount of Rs 42,630 on Eon along with Rs 44,074 off on Santro. The next gen i10 is being offered at a cash discount of Rs 46,883, the newly inducted Grand i10 is also being offered with a discount of Rs 23,153 and i20 is also available at a discount of Rs 55,645.
C segment sedan Verna is available at a discount of Rs 67,549, D segment premium sedan Elantra is also up for grabs at an attractive discount of Rs 93,799. Sonata also attracts a discount of Rs 1,40,400, a discount of Rs 1,35,292 is also proffered on tweaked version of Santa Fe.
Honda has also come up with cash discounts on their cars like Honda Brio and Honda Amaze compact sedan. A cash discount of Rs 18.650 is being offered on Brio along with a cash discount of Rs 20,600 on Amaze. These cash discounts are confined to dealers located in Delhi and NCR. Exchange bonus scheme is also on offing through the company’s second hand car business, Auto Terrance.
Chevrolet too has come up with discounts on its cars like Beat, Sail UV-A, Sail sedan and Enjoy. The company is proffering a heavy discount of Rs 72,000 on petrol variant of Beat hatchback. Beat diesel is being proffered with a tempting discount of Rs 75,000. Sail UVA petrol is also attracting a cash discount of Rs 63,000 and the diesel version is being proffered with a discount of Rs 66,000. Under this offer petrol and diesel variants of Sail sedan are cheaper by Rs 66,000 and Rs 70,000 respectively. Chevrolet’s MPV Enjoy is also being offered at a discounted rate for both petrol and diesel variants. The company is offering a discount of Rs 68,000 and Rs 72,000 on Enjoy petrol and Enjoy diesel respectively. Other than this the company is also proffering loyalty and exchange bonus to its customers. The cash discounts and loyalty and exchange benefits are available only in North India.
