The cars are powered by a 3.0-litre turbocharged straight-six engine, which churns out 345 bhp power at a torque output of 51 kgm. With a zero to 100 kilometres per hour dash possible in five seconds, these cars might be a great option for performance-loving Indian fans. Apart from these facts, the cars also come with performance brakes, recalibrated stability control system, a performance exhaust kit and an intercooler. Front and rear splitters are offered on both the Polestar models, apart from the stylish 20-inch alloy wheels, a new steering wheel and sports seats.

Incidentally, it is expected that Volvo will introduce the Polestar models in the country after the Auto Expo 2016. The car manufacturer has also confirmed that it would not be taking part in the Expo. Some of the recently launched models of this company in the country include XC90 SUV, S60 T6 sedan, the V40 hatchback and V40 Cross Country petrol.
