After receiving an excellent response for Amaze, City and Mobilio, Honda Cars India is now planning to launch a series of new cars in the country. This will help the company further enhance its market share in India. Here is a list of upcoming Honda cars in next a couple of years.

      New Honda Jazz

Honda Jazz: Unveiled at the 2014 Delhi Motor Show, the new Jazz will be offered in both petrol and diesel fuel options. It is for the first time that Jazz will come in diesel version. While the petrol unit is the tried & tested 1.2-litre i-VTEC unit, the oil burner will be the 1.5-litre i-DTEC unit. The exact launch date of the car is yet to be announced, but our sources suggest that the car will be launched by mid 2015.

Honda Civic: The Japanese car maker might bring back its popular sedan - the Civic saloon in the market. In fact, the maker has imported a unit of diesel Civic for R&D purpose. The vehicle is likely to get a 1.6-litre i-DTEC diesel and a 1.8-litre i-VTEC petrol unit. If reports are to be believed, the car will be launched by the end of this year.

Honda Accord: Known for offering spacious interiors and aggressive styling, the Accord sedan is ready to make its re-entry in our market. At the 2014 Indian Auto Expo, the Japanese maker had unveiled the ninth generation Accord with hybrid powertrain. However, the sedan is likely to be offered in both petrol and diesel fuel options.

New Honda CR-V: The maker is also planning to launch the diesel version of the popular CR-V in the country. The SUV is expected to get the 1.6-litre i-DTEC engine, while the petrol model will continue to feature the existing engine. The SUV is likely to go on sale this year or by the early next year.

Honda Compact SUV: Honda is working on a small SUV, which will be specifically developed for the Indian market. We believe that the maker will unveil the concept version of the sub-compact SUV at the 2016 Delhi Motor Show, while the launch could take place by mid-2016.
