The upcoming Chicago Auto show shall be the venue for unveiling of special edition Camry and Corolla sedans. Both the vehicles are likely to sport all new interior and exterior design. Just a while ago the company had launched the face-lifted version of Camry that has been selling in good numbers. Reports have suggested that the special edition of the sedan shall be available in SE trim.
The Camry SE limited edition is likely to be powered by 2.5-liter four-cylinder that is mated to a six speed automatic transmission that is capable of generating about 178 horsepower and 170 pound-feet of torque. The car would be available in interesting shade of Blizzard Pearl or Blue Streak Metallic paint that compliments the large 18-inch wheels. To give it a truly limited edition feel the vehicle gets black highlights and smoked taillights. As for the interiors the vehicle gets black bolsters and blue centers for the seats. The cerulean highlights for the instruments is also a visual treat. As for features, the vehicle gets Entune Audio Plus stereo, moon-roof and push-button start function. Only about 12,000 units of this vehicle would be available.
The Corolla Special Edition shall be available in S Plus trim and shall feature a interesting set of features like - Unique 17-inch alloy wheels with gloss black finish, Black interior with red contrast stitching, Red accented dash and door trim, Smart Key System with pushbutton start and Special Edition floor mats with logo and unique exterior badge. The vehicle shall be available in interesting shades of Red, Black Sand Pearl and Super White. Apart from this the vehicle also gets steering wheel paddle shifters, rear disc brakes and Sport Driving Mode as standard features. The Corolla Special Edition will be produced between August and December 2015 and will be limited to 8,000 units.
