The Safari Storm from Tata Motors has been the country's favorite choice in the SUV segment. For a while now,reports of a facelifted trim in works has been doing rounds. Sources, have also spotted the vehicle undergoing test on numerous occasion and have hinted that the SUV may be offered in 5 and 7 seater variants. Reportedly, dealers have also started accepting the bookings for the vehicle with a token amount of Rs. 21,000.
The front fascia of the SUV has received a considerable amount of cosmetic upgrades in form of new honeycomb grille and air dam intake that seem to be share some resemblance with the Land Rover Freelander 2 trim. The front fender also carries the 'Varicor' Badge. As for the interiors, the steering gets a three spoke multifunction steering wheel and the dashboard has received a considerable amount of silver accent that compliments the faux-wood finish.
The upcoming facelifted Tata Safari Storme shall continue to be powered by 2.2-litre, four-cylinder, VariCor diesel engine that is capable of generating about 150 PS with 320 Nm of torque. As for entertainment, it shall be equipped with Harman music system with Bluetooth, UBS and Aux-in connectivity on the center console.
