Tata Motors has officially launched the facelifted version of Aria in the domestic market at Rs 9.95 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). New Aria is being offered in three trims- PURE LX, PLEASURE and PRIDE 4x4. Company is also offering a warranty of 3 years or 10,000 kms whichever comes first on the new Aria. Warranty is also being proffered on the new VARICOR engine, a three year warranty or 150,000 kms whichever comes first.
Details regarding the new Aria were already available on the Tata’s official website. Ample changes have been made to the vehicle which includes cosmetic touches on the interior and exterior front, apart from this, various new equipments have also been added.
Among the exterior additions, new chic decals clear lens tail lamps, 17 inch alloy wheels and black bezel double barrel head lights further enhance the outer appearance. Inside the cabin, an array of new features have been equipped that comprise of a new in-car JBL entertainment system that comes with four mid-range speakers, four tweeters, one centre speaker and 1 sub-woofer. Other new additions like new leather seats with beige upholstery render an upmarket look to the interiors. Various other features are also present inside the cabin likedoor trims, height-adjustable driver’s seat, a tilt-adjustable steering, leather wrap for the steering wheel, dual AC, with Automatic Climate Control and roof-mounted AC vents.
Powering the crossover is the new 2.2 litre VARICOR engine that belts out a maximum power output of 150 PS along with a top torque of 320 Nm. AN ARAI certified fuel economy of 15.05 kmpl is returned by the tweaked Aria.
Among the safety features, new Aria gets six airbags affixed on front passenger seat, driver‘s seat, side airbags and curtain airbags. Preeminent safety features like ABS with EBD, ESP and Perimetric Alarm System are also available on new Tata Aria.
