Tata Kite has been built on the platform of Indica and is expected to rival Maruti Celerio and Hyundai Grand i10 in the country. As far as the spy shots are concerned, they revealed that it will definitely be a smart choice to opt for and the car has entered the early stages of production. Undoubtedly, the year 2015 will see its launch in India and Tata will be depending hugely on its success. Though, the car, which was spotted, was heavily camouflage just like the previous ones. However, it was not much difficult to get the figurative details about the Kite. This car will replace the current Indica and also be taking design hints from Zest and Bolt. It is expected that the car will reach the Indian market by the later part of 2015 and is expected to be priced at 4 lakhs INR.

The hatch will be pitted against the likes of Hyundai i20, i10 and Maruti Suzuki Swift. Mechanistically, the car is capable of generating a power of 84 bhp at 5000 rpm from its 1.2 litre Revotron turbo-charged engine. The torque output of the car is expected to be at 140 Nm at an rpm range of 1750 to 3500. Indeed, the Indian hatchback segment is set to go great guns with these two new launches from Tata in 2015.
