Tata Motors, biggest automobile company in India, is all set to tie-up with popular retail chain Big Bazaar for promoting its new fuel efficient Indigo eCS sedan. This diesel-powered Indigo eCS will be marketed in approximately 40 Big Bazaar outlets across the nation. The company had earlier used the country's biggest retail chain for promoting its sub-small segment car Nano. Big Bazaar has been approached by the manufacturer again due to its vast customer base across the country, thereby giving market exposure to cars displayed at its stores before their launch.

Indigo eCS will be promoted under Tata's '25 ka Tadka' campaign, which will stress upon the best-in-class mileage of 25 kmpl that this sedan delivers. It has already received certification from Automotive Research Authority of India (ARAI) regarding its class-leading fuel efficiency. Tata will be hoping that consumers shopping at Big Bazaar will be intrigued by the new Indigo and lure them to showrooms for enquiries and bookings. Additionally, the car manufacturer will offer 25 peak discounted products with the car when it goes on sale.

As of now, it cannot be said that Tata will display the diesel variant of Indigo eCS at Big Bazaar stores or not. However, it had exhibited its Nano at the outlets at the time of its launch, allowing potential buyers to get a preview of the model in-person and the same strategy should also work for the sedan this time. Recently, Ford had done the same, showcasing its upcoming EcoSport crossover vehicle at two malls in Mumbai, Maharashtra in a bid to generate buzz about the model before its official roll out.
