As we reported earlier, Renault India is working on the Duster facelift (AT) that will be launched by the end of this year. The company, in fact, has started testing the vehicle in India. The 2015 Renault Duster facelift will compete against of the recently launched Hyundai Creta. The new Duster facelift will receive a few cosmetic updates (market-specific), though the major change will come in the form of a 6-speed dual-clutch EDU (Efficient Dual Clutch) automatic transmission.

The spyshots suggest that the new Duster facelift will feature LED or LED-effect taillights with the unchanged cluster design, and a new pair of alloy wheels. Since the prototype was camouflaged, the minimal front details are available. Though, it is expected to get a revised front fascia with slightly different grille, headlights and bumper design. Other exterior updates could be fog lights with blacked out surrounds, silver skid front and rear plates and revised body cladding. If reports are to be believed, the 2015 Duster facelift might draw its design inspiration from the Duster Adventure Edition.

The India-bound Duster facelift will be powered with the existing 1.6-litre K4M petrol and 1.5-litre dCi diesel engines that produce 102.53bhp with 148Nm and 108.45bhp with 245Nm respectively. While the manual gearbox will continue to be offered with both 2WD and 4WD versions, the new automatic gearbox will made available with the 2WD (two-wheel drive) version.
