French automaker Renault had recently launched the Lodgy MPV in the Indian market. Since its launch in the country the Lodgy MPV has emerged as a strong contender against the likes of Honda Mobilio, Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Toyota Innova and Mahindra's Quanto. Renault India has reportedly silently launched a top end variant rechristened as 'Lodgy Stepway' in the Indian market.
The new Renault Lodgy Stepway is only offered in a diesel variant. Under the hood the MPV gets a 1.5 liter four-cylinder K9K engine that is capable of producing about 110 Ps of power with 245 Nm of torque. The vehicle would be offered in seven and eight seater variants.
As for the safety aspect the new Renault Lodgy Stepway gets ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Brake-Force Distribution). On the designing aspect, the vehicle gets side body claddings, skid plates for the front and rear end section. Stylish front grill, Stepway badging and stylish interior theme. The vehicle may cost an additional Rs. 70,000 over the RxZ trim in your city.
