Nissan is gearing up for the launch of tweaked Sunny sedan in domestic market. Industry insiders opine that Nissan’s tweaked Sunny sedan is on brink of launching in India. The C segment sedan is expected to come with various cosmetic changes and a number of new equipments.Sunny will be seen in a new avatar borrowing design cues fromTeanarendering a more modish semblance to the vehicle. Sources close to the development reveal that apart from the current range, Nissan is likely to offer two premium packs on the high end version of Sunny-XV Premium Pack 1 and XV Premium Pack 2.
On the feature front, basic XE variant is said to come equipped with standard features like body coloured bumpers, dual trip meter withDTEand fuel consumption function, tilt adjustable power steering, follow me home headlights, central locking and speed sensing door lock. On the other hand exquisite features like alloy wheels, electrically adjustable wing mirrors, audio system withUSBconnectivity and display for audio, climate control, piano black cluster with silver accents, push-button start and various others will be proffered as standard under the Premium Pack 2 on XV trim.
Pre-eminentsafety features like driver airbag, ABS with EBD will be offered as standard on the entry level trims of the sedan. Top end variant is expected to come with additional features including front and side airbags, brake assist and immobiliser.
Powering Sunny petrol will be a 1.5 litre motor pumping out a maximum power output of98Bhp. Diesel variants will be packed with a 1.5 litredCipowertrain. A five speed manual gearbox will be coupled to both the engines, while aCVTtrannycould be offered on the petrol trims.
