Japanese bikemaker Yamaha is known for its performance on race tracks as well as off it. Recently, the bike-maker has unveiled new interesting colors options for the for the FZ series being sold in India. Technical specifications for all the bikes have been left untouched, the changes are purely cosmetic in nature.
The Yamaha Fz-16 shares similar specification sheet much like the Fz-S. The only difference here is that Fz-S gets a visor and additional graphics. On the design front, the Fz bikes have left no stone unturned with dynamism and originality. The bikes sport purely European international design with inclusion of new colours and body graphics, the windshield has bears an aerodynamic chiselled style, the attractive meter console sports stylish and sporty carbon pattern. Moreover, the aggressive looking headlight adds to overall bike styling. The 150 cc bike from Yamaha is a perfect blend of machismo and fashion. The seat is longer and firm as compared to other bikes in this segment. The bigger seat is also said to benefit the pillion rider. The Fz-16 is now available in interesting shades of Raider Red, Black Panther and Ambush Blue.
Fz-S from Yamaha has been an instant hit from its inception days. The bike is powered by 153 cc, Air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC engine that generates about 14 Ps of power with 13.6 Nm of torque. The powerful engine is mated to a five speed gearbox. The rear wheel is blessed with Monocross suspension unit that provides with 120 mm of wheel travel for maximum comfort and balance, whereas the front gets telescopic fork. The powerful engine breathes to life right from the moment the rider hits on electric start button or kick starts it the traditional way. The bike gets a wide radial tyre for the rear for maximum traction and control at all speeds and conditions. The Yamaha FZ-S is available in shades of Preying Red, Pouncing Black and Hawk-Eye Gold.
The Yamaha Fazer performs on the street backed by 5-speed, 153cc, Air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve engine that generates about 14 Ps of power with 13.6 Nm of torque. The bike sports a full fairing look to appease to the power biking enthusiasts. For comfortable ride the Fazer gets telescopic suspension for the front, whereas the rear is blessed with a Monocross suspension. Yamaha boasts of 'MidShip Muffler' that is positioned at the center of the machine, thereby delivering good concentration of mass, exhaust efficiency and handling. The bike is now available in interesting shades of Ravine Red, Terrain white and Wilderness Black.
