T-ROCunderpins the renowned MQB platform on which most of the Volkswagen cars are conceived. Talking about the dimensions of the SUV, it will measure more than four meters in length at 4,179 mm and will possess a width of 1,831 mm, height will be close to 1,501 mm and wheelbase will measure around 2,595 mm. Since the SUV is based on the modular Transverse Matrix platform, hence it weighs only 1,420 Kg.

The German auto maker will position new T-ROC amid Taigun and Tiguan SUVs. Expect a 2.0 litre diesel powertrain to be housed inside the vehicle; this is the same engine that does duty in Golf GTD. The 2.0 litre oil burner yields a pinnacle power and torque output of 181 Bhp and 380 Nm respectively. Concept version shown at Geneva featured a permanent all wheel drive system that offers three driving modes including a Street mode, Offroad mode and Snow mode.
