The launch of India’s most awaited compact hatchback - New Maruti Swift 2011- is just a day away. The company will roll-out the new Swift at a ceremony that is scheduled to be held on 17th Aug. The all new Maruti Swift is already successful in country even before its launch as more than 45,000 units of the car have already been booked in the country, one of the best ever pre-launch responses received by a car in the Indian auto market.
The production of the older version of Swift was stopped about a year back as company started focusing completely on the new generation version. The new Maruti Swift will be blessed with a number of cosmetic changes at the exterior along with a refined engine at the heart. The new Maruti Swift will be better in performance, comfort and safety.
The new car will be rolled-out in the same segment, priced a bit higher as compared to the previous version of this model in the country. Blessed with higher performance and more space inside, the new Swift has been enabled to compete more promptly with its new age competition like Ford Figo, Volkswagen Polo and recently launched Toyota Etios Liva. Moreover, the new Swift will be a strong competitor to the upcoming cars in its segment like Honda Brio that will be launched in October, this year.
