Chevrolet has officially revealed interior images of the 2015-2016 Cruze premium saloon prior to its launch in 2015. The new generation Cruze saloon made its global debut at the Beijing Motor Show earlier this year.
The images reveal that upgraded version of Cruze will offer classier cabin as compared to its forerunner. Inside the cabin the dual cockpit layout will be retained though the catch is a host of new features will be embedded and the quality of material used has also been raised. From the images revealed we can infer that this is the high end version of the saloon. Seats are covered in posh brown leather, piano black interior trim and chrome accents further class up the cabin.
Among the features equipped in the cabin, a three spoke steering wheel, MyLink II infotainment system with an eight-inch display an ice blue ambient lighting and a “butterfly-shaped centre console” that offers “intuitive, user-friendly operation with clear functions at a glance” are included.
Chevrolet’s new generation Cruze will come with exquisite revamped Ecotec small-displacement engine built jointly by General Motors and SAIC. The premium saloon will be offered with a choice of segment first 1.4 litre mid-mounted direct injection turbocharged motor and the 1.5 litre mid-mounted naturally aspirated engine. Among the gearbox options a six-speed manual engine, a newly developed seven-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission and a six-speed automated manual gearbox could be offered.
