Plans to initiate projects dealing with non-production purchasing also reside with Genpact. Patrick Cogny, Senior Vice President and Business Leader, Infrastructure, Manufacturing and Services at Genpact, was quoted as saying, “We are excited to apply our procurement expertise and deep analytical capabilities to Jaguar Land Rover's operations. We combine these strengths to ensure that the right information is sourced, processed, and then injected into Jaguar Land Rover's decision making process to make their operations adaptive to market conditions, globally competitive, and better connected with its supply base.”

At present, Jaguar Land Rover is flourishing with ambitious plans for a sustained growth and profitability in the auto sector. The auto maker currently runs three advanced manufacturing facilities in UK. A first state-of-the-art advanced engine facility is also being built at i54 South Staffordshire Business Park. This new facility will see an investment of more than £500m and will create about 1,400 new jobs.
