After a long delay, the Honda Brio has finally marked its debut in the Indian auto market on Tuesday. The company has kept the Honda Brio price considerably low at Rs 3.95 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). With this competitive price tag, the Brio model is expected to give a tough fight to its competitors like Chevrolet Beat, Maruti Swift, Ford Figo, Hyundai i10 and Toyota Etios. The top end model of the car is available at Rs 5.1 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Speaking to the reporters at the launch of New Honda Brio, Takashi Nagai, the president & chief executive of Honda's Indian unit, said, "Brio is our answer to the demand of mass car market. It's our most focused product." He added that "With Brio, we will be entering a new segment for the first time in India. It has been designed and developed specially to meet the needs of customers here."
