Fiat Group Automobiles India Private Limited, a renowned Indian manufacturer and a subsidiary of the Italian auto maker- FIAT Group Automobiles S.p.A., has inaugurated its new exclusive dealership with DRS Motors Pvt Ltd. The new outlet of Fiat India is located at 12/7 Mile Stone, Sarai Khwaja Mathura Road. Sprawling over an area of 2650 square feet, this facility can easily display four cars. Additionally, the showroom has an attached workshop with a space of 7000 square feet, which aims to meet customers' expectations. The introduction of new showrooms by Fiat seems a smart move to the industry experts as it has ceased contract with Tata Motors and is now looking forward towards establishing its own niche in the Indian auto market.

The Vice President of FIAT India, Ravi Bhatia inaugurated the company's new dealership in Faridabad. On the inaugural day, Bhatia was quoted as saying, “FIAT India views Faridabad as a very strategic market and the inauguration of an exclusive dealership is in accordance with our strategy to capitalise on this potential. We are confident that our association with DRS Motors Pvt Ltd will play a crucial role in identifying the customer base and enhancing customer experience in Faridabad. With DRS Motors Pvt Ltd, we are associated with a partner who has over 20 years of experience and market knowledge of the automobile trade.”

On similar lines, the Director of DRS Motors Pvt Ltd, S. Mohanty, said, “FIAT cars are prominent all over India for their aesthetic design and their engineering superiority. We are extremely proud to become exclusive dealers of FIAT Group Automobiles India Pvt. Ltd in Guwahati and with an experienced management team and well trained technicians we are confident of replicating world class dealership and after-sales experience to the car buyers here.”

Until now, Fiat India has come up with 80 exclusive dealers in the market and it further intends to add 20 more in its growth plan. So, by the closing of 2013, this esteemed Indian automobile manufacturer is expected to achieve a total of 100 showrooms. With its proactive slew of launches in the near future, the Italian auto maker is in a determined state of expansion mode for the Indian automobile sector. According to industry experts, the collaboration of Fiat India with DRS Motors is extremely reliable as latter holds a vast experience.

Off late, the giant car maker Fiat Group introduced Linea Classic in the Indian automobile market. It must be noted that the company has reported not so favourable response from the Indian auto market and therefore, it is all geared up with its new launches for monetary gains. According to the available facts sheet, looking at the company's sales graph, one can easily mark a steep fall in the number of units produced in 2012 (6,000 units) as against 2011 (16,000 units). Therefore, industry experts believe that introducing new dealerships and products in the Indian automobile market will shoot Fiat India's market share at a high pace.
