Ford EcoSport has carved out quite a niche for itself in the Indian market. Incidentally, there was a dearth of mid-range SUVs even a couple of years back. However, the last two years witness the rise of a plethora of such SUVs and MPVs, which have taken the fans into a swoon. EcoSport is definitely, one of the best-performing models in this pack.
As far as the diesel options are concerned, there are four different variants of EcoSport. The standard model is the 1.5 DV5 MT Ambiente, which is priced at 7.4 lakhs INR. The model is powered by a 1498 cc engine and returns approximately 22.7 kilometres for a litre. There is also the 1.5 DV5 MT Trend, which has been tagged at 8.2 lakhs INR. Apart from these two varieties, the other models available are 1.5 DV5 MT Titanium and 1.5 DV5 MT Titanium Optional, which are priced at 9.2 lakhs and 9.7 lakhs INR, respectively. The specifications are more or less similar for these variants, with a slight addition in few features.
There are five different options as far as the petrol variants are concerned. The standard model is 1.5 TI VCT MT Ambiente, which is priced at 6.5 lakhs INR. EcoSport also comes in 1.5 TI VCT MT Trend and 1.5 TI VCT MT Titanium, which are tagged at a price range of 7.3 lakhs and 8.3 lakhs INR. All the three models are powered by a 1499 cc mill, with manual transmission and returns around 15.8 kilometres per litre. The higher variants comprise the 1.0 Ecoboost Titanium model and the 1.0 Ecoboost Titanium Optional model, which are priced at 8.7 lakhs INR and 9,2 INR. These are powered by a 999 cc engine, with manual transmission and returns approximately 18.9 kilometres per litre.
