Bajaj, the leading manufacturer of two-wheelers in India, is all geared up to roll out new models in the Indian market. Incidentally, these new bikes will be in its popular Pulsar series. The new range of bikes will comprise Supersport designed and patterned Pulsar 200SS as well as 400SS. Apart from this fact, the adventure sports bikes – Pulsar 200AS and 200NS based Pulsar 150. The period between March to June 2015 will witness the launch of these bikes in the Indian market. There are also plans to launch a new Avenger this year, which can be introduced in June 2015.
Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director, Bajaj Auto Limited, said in an interview, "From next month onwards, which is from March onwards, up until June, in these 4 months, we will actually roll out products at the other end of the spectrum in the sport segment, which has you know is a segment dominated by Bajaj with about 45 per cent market share. So, new Pulsars, possibly even a new Avenger."
The company has already lifted the shutters from Pulsar motorcycles some time back. There are no hints about the launch about Avenger. It can be a new motorcycle with a revised platform or a facelift of the existing model. The Indian bike segment is undoubtedly, ready to get enriched with the new set of motorcycles.
