      The competition between daily commuter bikes in India is on an all-tome with new models being launched almost every month. The number of companies who compete in the concerned segment has increased several manifolds and as a result people are spoilt for choice when it comes to opting for a bike in the 135-160 cc segments. Honda has kept the price of its product a bit aggressive at 65842 (ex-showroom), while Bajaj Discover 135 has been priced at 59291 INR. Honda CBF Stunner uses a 124.7 cc air-cooled, 4-stroke, SI engine, which is capable of producing a maximum power of 11.6 bhp at the rate of 8000 rpm. The maximum torque output for the bike is 11.2 Nm at a lowered 6250 rpm. On the other hand, Bajaj Discover runs on a 134.66 cc, 4-stroke, DTS-I, air-cooled engine, which can churn out a maximum of 13.37 bhp at the rate of a higher 9000 rpm. The maximum twisting force from this bike is 11.4 Nm at 7500 rpm. While CBF Stunner Fuel Injection System, the Pulsar uses a Digital twin spark technology to fire power to its engine.

      When it comes to the safety features, both the bikes are almost on the same page. The CBF Stunner Pgm FI and Bajaj Pulsar 135 uses disc brakes on the front wheel and drum braking pattern on the rear wheel. The dimensions might vary slightly to counter the difference in dimensions of the wheels of the respective bikes. Honda CBF Stunner employs telescopic hydraulic fork suspension for its front wheel and 3-step spring loaded hydraulic shock absorber with a box type swing arm for its rear wheel. The Pulsar has been provided with telescopic fork suspension with anti-friction bush for the front wheel while 5-way adjustable Nitrox shock absorber has been employed on the rear. Definitely, when it comes to control and manoeuvring, both the bikes have tried their best. When it comes to fuel capacity, the Honda model scores better with 11 litres as compared to only eight litres for the Pulsar. The appearance and overall looks of both the bikes are up to the standard and might please the eyes for all.
