Hyundai was known to follow a Fluidic Design; however, it has now opted for storm-edge styling. This means that the looks of the new car have been increasingly sharper, which has contributed to the rise of its sales. This new feature has made it more successful than Polo or Swift. For that matter, Polo is somewhat better placed than Swift as the former has some changes; but Swift has gone with the same trademark looks of Maruti models.

      Engine: Under the hood, the Elite i20 uses the same 1.2 litre Kappa2 petrol mill and the 1.4 litre CRDi diesel. It is capable of producing a power of 82 PS at a maximum torque of 115 Nm. The Polo on the other hand powered by a 1.2 MPI produces around 75 PS of power at a 110 Nm of torque. The Swift on the other hand leads the diesel pack producing 75 PS of power at 190 Nm torque with a 1.3 litre engine.

      Pricing: The Swift from Maruti is priced lowest at 4.42 lakh INR and gives good value-for-money. Next placed is the Elite i20, which is tagged at 4.56 lakh INR. The base model of Polo starts at 5 lakh INR, making it the costliest among the three. When it comes to diesel models, Swift is tagged at 5.46 lakh INR, followed by i20 at 6.10 lakh. Polo is again the most expensive at 7.37 lakh INR.
