2016 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga facelift snapped testing; Launch in October

The 2016 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga facelift (Suzuki Ertiga) which is scheduled to be unveiled on August 20, 2015 at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show, has been spied testing in India. Set to rival the Chevrolet Enjoy, Honda Mobilio, Renault Lodgy and Mahindra Xylo, the 2016 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga facelift will be exported to Indonesia via the CKD (completely knocked down) route. According to a report, the new Ertiga facelift is expected to be launched in India in the 3rd week of October, 2015.

2016 Maruti Ertiga Front Quarter

The 2016 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga facelift will receive a few exterior and interior updates. Though, there will be no mechanical change made to the car. Power for the Ertiga facelift will come from the existing 1.4-litre K-Series petrol and 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engines. Though, Maruti Suzuki might tune the engines for better fuel efficiency. If reports are to be believed, the top-end variant of the MPV could be equipped with an AMT (automatic manual transmission).

2016 Maruti Ertiga Interior

Exterior updates include revised front and rear bumpers, a new 3-slat chrome grille, electrically foldable wing mirrors, license plate enclosure with a new chrome appliqué, modified fog lights with chrome elements and alloy wheels with slightly different design. The MPV might also be offered with new exterior paint options. Inside the cabin, the car will get an audio system with Bluetooth connectivity, Maruti’s SmartPlay infotainment system, steering mounted phone controls, engine starter button and a keyless entry system with an engine starter button.
