Honda CBR150R has been one of the biggest bets of this two-wheeler giant; however, it did not go well with the buyers. Despite its upbeat styling and fantastic specifications, the bike has not done well as per the sales reports. The main problem with the bike is its aggressive pricing. However, the bike has been modelled on the CBR250R, which has not been able to meet up to the expectations of the brand. However, the style of CBR250R has been upgraded by the brand in the form of CBR300R. The 300R is greatly inspired from a CBR itself rather than 250R, which had a resemblance with VFR.

The Fireblade styling of CBR300R has been transferred to the upcoming model of CBR150R. This is one of the major reasons why this bike looks better than what it currently does. However, the looks and appearance are still not as good as R15 from Yamaha, which is often termed as the king in this segment. The CBR150R employs the same Truss frame, which has been utilised by the CBR250R. However, there will not be any alterations in the mechanical details, though the output might be marginally higher. The CBR150R is provided with a 149.4 cc engine, which generates almost around 18 PS of power with a torque of 12.66 Nm at nearly 134 kilometres per hour.

Definitely, all said and done, the groundwork has been laid by Honda. However, a lot is left to be done by this company of it is looking forward to boost the sales of its products in India. The R15 is the benchmark, with which all bikes shall be compared. So, it has to keep in mind the competition it is about to get from this model. The CBR250R will have to be provided with a switchgear, which is present on all other Honda bikes in India. This bike will also soon receive a healthy rivalry from Bajaj pulsar 200 SS, set to hit the streets soon.
