About Hyundai Exter
Model Launch Date:
The Hyundai Exter facelift is expected to be launched in June 2026.
Feature List:
The new Exter will get subtle cosmetic enhancements such as reprofiled front and rear profiles, new alloy wheel design, and most likely new colour shades.
The cabin of the Exter facelift is also expected to get new upholstery, larger infotainment system, and more features to match with the segment offerings.
Engine, Performance, and Specifications:
The Exter facelift will remain mechanically unchanged, and make use of the existing 1.2-litre petrol engine with a tuned output of 82bhp/114Nm. It will also be offered with dual CNG cylinders producing 68bhp/95.2Nm. The transmission options are to include a five-speed and AMT gearboxes.
The CNG configuration may receive an AMT option this time around.
Variants:
Like the current Exter, the facelift will also be offered in multiple variants.
Safety:
The facelifted Exter will come equipped with six airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking camera, and possibly high-strength steel additions to improve its crash test rating.
Competition:
When launched, the Exter will continue to rival the Tata Punch, Citroen C3, and the Maruti Suzuki Ignis.
