The 2024 Renault Kiger was launched in India on 9 January, 2024.
Feature list:
With the 2024 update, the Kiger gets a new shade for the semi-leatherette upholstery, leather-wrapped steering wheel, bezel-less auto-dimming IRVM, red colour brake callipers, and auto folding ORVMs with welcome and goodbye functions.
Engine, performance, and specifications:
The Kiger continues to be offered in 1.0-litre naturally aspirated and 1.0-litre turbo petrol engines. The former produces 71bhp and 96Nm of torque and is coupled with a five-speed manual and an AMT unit. Besides this, the turbo petrol mill churns out 99bhp and 160Nm of torque and can be had with manual and CVT gearboxes.

The Renault Kiger is available in five variants, namely RXE, RXL, RXT, RXT (O), and RXZ.

Good-looking family car
1. Looks: The car’s exteriors look extremely good, the best in segment. On the inside, the Kiger looks feature loaded. The piano gloss finish in the top variant looks very premium. However, quality of the plastic used in doors and dashboard could be better. Some of the components feel squeaky, such as the brake. 2. Comfort: The cabin is spacious, and can easily seat 5 people, comes loaded with features like armrest, rear AC vents, rear charging port. The assurance of safety with a 4 NCAP rating also adds a peace of mind. 3. Driving Experience: The driving experience is good for the pricing. But I found the engine underpowered compared to the Mahindra 3XO. Renault could work on this aspect. While the suspension is good, the cabin feels noisy. This is another aspect in which the 3XO felt more premium. 4. Maintenance: The maintenance charges are comparable to other cars.Worst Experience and Multiple Repairs
Vehicle Performance Issues 1. After 104 km, the vehicle stopped and showed a display of injection system failure. When I reported this to the showroom (Mr Lokesh), he told me to switch it off and restart but due to persistent issues I gave the car to the Renault service station (Whitefield, Bangalore) at 226 km; they said there was an engine software issue and we would update and give it. The next day I received a vehicle and I was using it again. The same issue started at 645 km. 2. I took my vehicle to the service station (Whitefield, Bangalore) again on 11th December 2023 at 1160 km, because the vehicle was stopping very frequently; they said software issues and gearbox issues, but this time they said they wanted to observe the vehicle and do complete repair and they took 6 days and delivered my vehicle on 16th December 2023 but the service engineer (Mr Satish) and Manager (Mr Ramesh) were very confident that they have solved my problem and it does not repeat and will give you fitness and quality certificate, i was convinced and took my vehicle. 3. Again today (17th December 2023) i have to drop my vehicle at service station Whitefield, due to repeated jerky movements. My vehicle was repaired and given to me yesterday and not even completed 24 hours, and again one more problem started. Exactly 36 days and 1224km have been completed and I have given this vehicle 3 times for the repair and kept almost 10 days for the repair. I am very sure, even if i bought a used car with this many problems i would not have got one. I strongly doubt whether I purchased a new vehicle or refurbished or used one. If a new vehicle Quality check might happen. If this happens, these problems should not exist.Over all the car is good. But company can do some what about exterior like is not look like a suv.
