- I bought the AMT version in 2021 as my first car, buying experience was descent from Kun Renault. Since buying the car, I've spoken to couple of triber drivers and the overall impression including mine is the engine provided is under powered for this chasis and features. Turning ON the AC drags the car and you can feel it very well, cannot overtake with a burst of power from he car, since it uses a AMT gearbox the gear change is delayed and sometimes get stuck. Now comes the ride comfort, the suspension are kind of better but not enough to silence small bumps in the road. Overall driving this car at around 90kmpl feels like dragging metal box with a lot of vibrations. I have checked with service people too to adjust settings for engine and suspension, but they convinced me to live with it ðŸ˜. City driving mileage is around 15kmpl without AC, and 9-12 with AC on city traffic. It does not feel like a 7 seater from outside, but have to appreciate the interior space planning though. Seats cushion are good for this price (i bought for 8.4lakhs on road). Maintenance isn't bad but bleeding in labour charge after free service so i took AMC for 18k, which is gonna save me 4-6k per service. Pros; This car is good for 1st time buyers focused on family usage with economic running cost. Cos: 1. Cannot expect performance, AC performance is also limited due to the engine ( the compressor capacity isn't sufficient to cool this space at a descent speed, which is selected based on engine), 2. Engine bay is left open from all 3 sides, (i had rat bite problems, installed an OEM engine gaurd to prevent damge to low hanging oil filter) 3. Headlights are dim for a vehicle of this size, we need better reaching head lights 4. OEM battery is cheap, i didn't realise that was bad since my driving stats kept resetting since buying the car. Replaced it later 5. Underpowered engine
- Awesome car get mileage 20-25 in 45km/h to 70km/h speed Interior comfort is too good Totally value for money
- I have so many trips with my triber with 6, 7 and 8 occupants now, that everyone in the family and friend circle says it was the best decision that I bought this car and none other. It's lot flexible and gives lot many options on how it can be used. With 5 passengers, it has one of the largest boot if not the largest of 625 litres and its 100% useful. You can easily fit in 4 large strolley / suitcase bags and if needed additional 2-3 small strolley as well by adjusting the middle row seats. So picking or dropping 4 family member to airport with 4 large strolley is not a problem in Triber. I have done this many times.
- The looks of the car is very attractive and awesome. Also, it feels like a premium car under low budget. I would recommend each and everyone whoever looking for family car then please go this car because under this range you would not expect this type of car. Once again I would thanks Renault for bringing this awesome car in the market at a reasonable price.
- Very good experience while driving, its interior is ok, but the exterior is awesome it has a very good safety, very nice car overall
