About Renault Kwid
Summary
Launched on 14 March, 2022, the refreshed Renault Kwid comes with a new RXL (O) variant and two new dual-tone colour options – Metal Mustard and Ice Cool White. Besides this, the SUV is also available in Moonlight Silver and Zanskar Blue single-tone paint options.
Exterior
The exterior design of the new Kwid remains largely unchanged. However, Renault offers seat belt pyrotech and load limiter as standard. Other features include dual airbags, an anti-lock braking system with EBD, and reverse park sensors with a rear-view camera.
Interior
Key interior highlights include an eight-inch infotainment touchscreen with MediaNAV Evolution, a digital instrument cluster, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-tone fabric seat covers, and a fast USB charging port.
Engine and transmission
The Kwid continues to be powered by a 0.8-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine producing 53bhp and 72Nm and a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol unit making 67bhp and 97Nm. The gearbox options include an AMT automatic and a five-speed manual transmission.
