The Polo hatchback and the Vento sedan have been strong selling models for the German automaker in India. In order to thrill its audience further, sources have revealed that the company has been working on readying special editions of the Vento and the Polo. The upcoming limited edition models would be named as Polo Exquisite and Vento Highline Plus. There would no price change on the Polo, but Vento special edition could cost an additional Rs 29,000.
The Polo Exquisite edition is made available only on the Highline MT variant. To add a distinctive appeal, the limited edition model gets cosmetic upgrades like ORVM with carbon fibre finish, trunk garnish, detachable window blinds, floor mats, black roof wrap, black side body moldings, scuff plates, seat covers with logo and carbon fibre finish on centre console. The hatchback shall continue to be powered by 1.2-Litre MPI and a 1.5-Litre TDI engine option.
On the other hand, the Vento Highline Plus shall also be available only on Highline MT variant. Being offered as a limited edition variant, in terms of cosmetic upgrades the vehicle gets features like black roof wrap, centre console with carbon fibre finish, ORVM with carbon fibre finish, floor mats, detachable window blinds, black side body mouldings and scuff plates. Additionally, the limited edition trim of the sedan also offers Blaupunkt audio system with navigation and SD card compatibility. The Vento Highline Plus continue to be powered by 1.6-litre MPI and 1.5-litre TDI engine options.
