Mahindra and Mahindra had recently launched the TUV300 in the Indian market that is steadily gaining popularity among buyers in this segment. As per sources, the next-in-line S101 is expected to be powered by a 1.2-Litre diesel engine apart from the 1.2-Litre, 1.6-Litre and 2.0-litres petrol engines.
Sources have confirmed that the company shall not offer the 1.5-litre mHawk diesel engine and shall instead offer 1.2-Litre, 1.5-Litre and 1.6-Litre diesel engines. Only the 1.6-Litre engine shall get four cylinders whereas the rest may get three cylinders. If reports are to be believed, the company may offer AMT technology apart from the regular manual transmission option. The pricing and other technical details are not known for now and may be revealed at a later date. Based on anticipation, it is likely to be offerd at around Rs 5.5 – 8.5 Lakh.
